There is nothing like living life with God. The joy, peace and love that adds flavor to life can only be provided by the Creator, who designed us for a relationship with Him. It’s amazing that the One who controls it all wants a personal, individual relationship with us! At The Life Church (TLC), we strive to love God, serve people, and make disciples. We are constantly seeing lives transformed through the power of God’s unconditional love.
We do this through:
We’re a multicultural gathering of people of all ages who come together to worship Jesus Christ our King. We have experienced the power of God’s transforming love and want to share it with the world.
Experience God with us and learn to follow Him at The Life Church.
We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.
The Life Church” in Northbrook, Illinois. However, there is a church named “The Life Church of Glenview” located near Northbrook. This church is part of a multicultural gathering of people of all ages who come together to worship Jesus Christ.
Additionally, “The Life Church” has congregations in other nearby areas, such as Des Plaines. Founded in January 2009 by Anthony and Layna LoCascio, this church began with a small group of 15 people and has grown over the years.
The Life Church of Northbrook is a church whose purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
God created mankind to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully living life their own way. To rectify this, we need God’s saving grace to end our separation from Him. As the Bible teaches, we believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. Faith in Jesus is the means by which a person is justified. At the same time, a sinner must believe the gospel; he is commanded to repent of his sinful life, to be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ, and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues (Acts 2:38; 4:12; 8:12-17; 10:43-48; 19:1-6). Thus the various aspects of faith and obedience work together in God’s grace to reconcile us to God.
We believe that the one God who revealed Himself in the Old Testament as Jehovah revealed himself in His Son, Jesus Christ. Thus, Jesus Christ was and is God. In other words, Jesus is the one true God Jehovah manifested in flesh, for in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (John 1:1-14; I Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9). While fully God, Jesus was also fully man making Him the only one able to fulfill
the needed sacrifice of redemption for mankind (2 Corinthians 5:19, 1 Timothy 2:5, Ephesians 4:6).
At TLC we are Apostolic in doctrine, Pentecostal in experience, and Christian in lifestyle. We believe that God, who is holy, calls each of us into a holy and separated relationship with him. This relationship with Him manifests itself in every aspect of our lives, including our families. As such, TLC stresses and supports the family unit as God’s primary institution. While we put our relationship with God first in our lives in everything we do, we also believe strong families make a strong church. We strive to make our church an extension of every family within the TLC community.

The Li family’s main focus is making disciples of Jesus Christ. A simple understanding of a disciple is one who learns. We feel it is our calling to learn to be like Jesus, and to help others learn.
Rani and Ben Nolan are honored to serve a leaders of the Kidz4Life children’s ministry at The Life Church and have done so since shortly after moving to the Chicago area in 2011.
